Ski and ride 86 different trails at Ski Santa Fe, just 16 miles from downtown Santa Fe. A super fun feature beginning in January is live music on Saturdays and Sundays! Yes, you can hear the music pulsing from the lifts on occasion, BUT you should definitely pause between runs and grab a beer, a couple of tamales, and enjoy some cool vibes and great tunes courtesy of local musicians on the deck of Totemoff’s Bar & Grill throughout your days up on the mountain!

The winter Mercado, located inside the El Museo de Cultural building in the historic Railyard District is not just a place to shop, but a true experience. LENSIC PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

Built in 1931, the historic Lensic Performing Arts Center in the heart of downtown, just off the Plaza, hosts everything from the symphony to movie nights. State-of-the-art production capabilities meet a classic vibe in this 800-person-capacity Spanish-Moorish-style theater. On January 15, The Santa Fe Symphony presents American Legacies, featuring Jon Boen on horn. Performance Santa Fe presents the Aaron Diehl Trio partners with vibraphonist Jason Marsalis on January 19 for a sound that delivers, according to the New York Times, “melodic precision, harmonic erudition, and elegant restraint.” On January 22, Santa Fe Pro Musica presents the Danish String Quartet, and January 28 and 29, the Winter Orchestra Concert, led by Sarah Ioannides, where you can expect music by y Manuel de Falla, Joseph Bologne Chevalier de Saint-Georges, and Mozart. AMP Concerts brings Santa Fe fave Pink Martini with China Forbes on January 16 and Lyle Lovett, January 30 and 31. There’s always something important and exciting featured at The City Different’s historic performing arts center.


WINTERBREW 2023

The New Mexico Brewers Guild brings back a fave event to the Railyard, WinterBrew 2023. Just when you thought winter might get you down, you have the option of sampling suds from 17 participating New Mexico craft breweries, including Santa Fe sponsor Second Street Brewery! Food and live music, too. Get your tix for this event ASAP and tell your friends!


LAST FRIDAY ART WALK AT THE RAILYARD GALLERIES

January 27, 5 to 7 pm

The RAD (Railyard Art District), a cooperative of 8 art galleries, hosts its “Last Friday Art Walk” throughout the Railyard on January 27. Held the last Friday of every month, this exciting world-class contemporary art experience opens up the hip Railyard Arts District at night. After exploring, grab a bite to eat at one of several exciting restaurants in the neighborhood.
